1: What does it mean that the Holy Spirit expressly says?

The Spirit already said this would happen.

2: What does Paul mean by the faith?

The basic teaching of the Christian faith (the essential teachings) not individual salvation. True believers do not fall away. Not all who say the right thing about Christianity are saved unless their life proves so.

3: What are the later times?

The time from Christ's ministry on earth until the second coming. We are in the last days.

4: How are demon involved in the falling away?

By presenting false teaching as the truth about Christian doctrine. (1 Corinthians 10:20)

5: How are false teachers connected to demons?

By teaching the lies from demonic influence.

6: What is a seared conscience?

Repeated sin becomes accepted as normal behavior and the conscience does not convict of the need to repent.

7: Why the focus on teaching about food and marriage?

These are false teachings that abstinence from food and marriage make you more Holy - i.e. salvation by works (Galatians 3:10-11).

8: What does it mean that everything made by God was good?

It must be received with thankfulness from God. The precursor to idolatry is not being thankful to God for the good things he gives us. It keeps you from falling into sin. (Romans 1:21-23)

A heart of thanksgiving draws us closer to Christ.

9: How does something become Holy by the word of God and prayer?

Food and marriage are acceptable if done in according to God's word and with a prayerful attitude, and done in a way that glorifies God.
