Application

1. We can never over estimate God's power and authority.

    It is often too easy for us to make God smaller than He is.

2. Since God controls everything, you can trust him

Romans 8:28

3. God chose to save His people through the Suffering of His son.

 You can trust Him for everything else. Romans 8:31-32

4. God is Soveriegn over my salvation.

Salvation is accomplished by God alone. Jonah 2:9
