Topic: Highly Exalted Scripture: Philippians 2:1-11

Title - Highly Exalted

Verse - Philippians 2:  1-11

1 Caleb Bunch - Versus 1 to 4 -

Paul said to the Philipeans to unite the Church, do away with divisions.  Be humble.  We should look to serve others and look out for their interests.  Have the mind of Christ, who was willing to die on the Cross for our sins, even though we sin everyday and think of ourselves to highly.  Humble ourselves, do not be pridefull.  Have the Mind of Christ.

2 Micah McCormick  Verses 5-7

Paul states that God in the form of Jesus died on the cross taking on the burdens of our sins.   We must adore the humility of Jesus.  Jesus is truly God, who sent his son to earth in human form willingly to die for our sins.   Jesus came as a humble servant to teach us about the father.  God gave him dominion over everything.  Adore His humility.  Embrace his humble mind set.  Take on this humble mindset ourselves as best as we can, through the help of the Holy Spirit and our Church family.

 3 Riley Lynch  Verse 8

Jesus became obediant to God, in living in this world and teaching us, but also to die on the cross for us.  We should give up all our pride and be obediant to God and to be a servant of all others.  Take pride out of our life.

We deserve the cross and death, but God took our sins away through his grace.  We should follow his lead and show humility in the chruch for others, we should die trying to teach everyone about Jesus and his gift of eternal life with him.  We need to always Glorify God/Jesus above all else.  Keep the Glory of the Cross in front of you.

 4 Nate Young  - Verses 9-11

Paul stated that Jesus is above all other names.   Every knee will bow before Him.   Only Christ is worthy to be exulted.  Serender our pride and ask God for forgiveness and serve him.

List a person in your church that you like and serve them.

List a person in your church which you do not like.  Ask for forgiveness and humble yourself to serve this person and pray for them.

List a person in your church which you do not think about at all.  Then talk to them and get to know them.  Find out their needs and interest and pray for them.

Meditate on Christ and His exultation. Serender our Pride and ask God for forgiveness and serve him with all our heart, mind and soul.
