The Complacent Church

Topic: Zeal Scripture: Revelation 3:14-22
Rev 3:14-22
Paul wrote to the Church in Laodicea for them to not be complacent. This Church had a wealthy congregation and they became proud of their accomplishment and their wealth. They started to lose their faith and rely on themselves and their skill. They were lukewarm for God and his desires. God corrects those who he loves, but have errored in their ways. The Church had lost its' way and its' Zeal to ask for forgiveness and worship the Lord with their whole heart, soul and Mind.
We need to be zealous for our Lord and to strive to spread his word with Zeal and to live the life the best we can in Godly ways and to repent when we fail or lose our Zeal.
