2 Corinthians 12:7- Thorn in the side from Satan? No, It is sent by God to stop Paul from being conceited. No Demon is able to act without Gods control. God was allowing saul to taste the torment that awaited him in Hell.

Application

1. Music: You cannot ward off evil spirts or demonic figures with christian music, of course it helps but ultimately going to God is the only way.

2. Repentence: The servants of Saul gave him the recommendation of getting a musician to soothe his spirit when in reality they should have confronted him about his sin and pointed him to Jesus as the only way out of is inner despair. Do not put band-aids on bullet wounds

3. The Holy Spirit- If you are in Christ, you have nothing to fear of demons becasue the Holy Spirit lives and breathes through you.

4. Fearful Judgement: The coming judgement is real but also is the grace and mercy that God gives and the salvation thats given by his death on the cross.
